SUMMER!
I really just love it!
We have been doing so much and having alot of fun. We bought the boys a slip and slide instead of a pool this year, they have been really creative with the slip and slide. I think their favorite place to put it is under the slide from our play ground.
serious speed and distance...
Its so cute to see them get so excited and giggly and say things like"dude, watch this move."
Another favorite thing about summer is mine and Mikes Anniversary.
This year we celebrated a week late because of the move. Mike took me to "Maddox" an amazingly yummy place to eat. We ate until our bellies hung with satisfaction. Its hard to stop your self from eating too much, you want to say "no more", but you just can't..
These rolls.... how do I explain them? You will just have to go and experience them, they are pretty amazing!
On our way home... It was a very simple celebration, and it has been a great ten years...Thanks Mike for everything.. I love love love you!
Our First Hike of the Summer..
Adams Water Fall..
Mike and I have big hiking plans for this summer. There are so many great hikes up here we thought we better take advantage of them. On this hike we woke up super early and tried to get there before the heat. The views were amazing. We loved this hike.
Can't wait for the rest of the hikes that are in the future...
Swimming with our new friends...
Moving is hard because you leave everything familiar behind, however its fun to explore new things. We have made so many new friends already who have invited us lots of different places like swimming at the surf and swim.
some of our new friends.....
Fishing with the Scouts...
Jacksons new scout group went to a trout farm this last tuesday. All of the scouts were so excited to go fishing. They all had big plans with what they were going to do with the fish they caught.
Here is Jacksons fish, its hard to see, but its there.
Better view
Cooper wanted to be like Jacks and catch one too, he fished hard .
And finally caught one... He was one proud boy...
My boys and their friend and their fish in a bucket..
How I love my boys..
This is only the 2nd week of summer, I feel like we have done a whole summer worth of stuff already.. There is so so much more to come....
