Best Halloween Ever. 2013

What a fun Halloween we had this year. We started the week out by carving our pumpkins and listening to Oingo Biongo's "dead mans party", and Rockapella's "Zombie Jamboree" and Monster Mash and lots of other fun Halloween songs. How fun was it to crave our pumpkins and rock out to awesome music? Jacks, you even showed us your wicked break dancing moves..

Mikes Parents gave us pumpkin this year. Thank you for saving us some money.

 Jackson and Cooper, you were so excited that they were such giant pumpkins.

Mike was the Man and cut all of the tops off  and passed the pumpkins over so we could gut them..

There were so many seeds...

You boys are so funny, you get so excited to dig into these pumpkins and then totally grossed out when you do. Jacks, please don't throw up...

The end result...

We have the perfect wall to place our pumpkins. We lit them up and stood and admired them for a few minutes, took some pictures, and then rushed inside to get out of the cold. Plus we had cookies waiting for us...

HALLOWEEN:

Halloween was awesome this year. The boys costumes were so fun to make and they loved them. Jackson was a Zombie and Cooper was a Skeleton. Mike never dresses up and I was Daisy head Mayzie. 

Jackson is thee perfect Zombie.. He looks a little freaky here..

We all met up at a neighbors house, took a few pictures and then went trick or treating. I LOVED that all of the kids go together. They just went and the parents walked behind. We have never trick or treated like this before. It was so much fun to walk with the parents and get to know them better, and to see our boys have fun with their friends..

Our sweet little neighbor from magna, Madi, came up and spent the night with us. We miss this girl so much, We loved having her with us..

One of the Houses had donuts, hot chocolate and hot dogs for everyone. They were pretty tasty.

Cooper and Madi are BFF's . They are two little peas in their awesome little pod.

After the trick or treating was done we went to a couple of spook ally's in the neighborhood. They were pretty scary. One of them had a man on stilts with a big black cap on. I know that it is just a man on stilts, but it is still a super creepy thing to see a giant thing walking around, and especially walk after you..YIKES. But  at the end you got a full size candy bar and a great laugh..

After all of that Jackson was invited to go over to his friend Tanner's house for some more Halloween fun. Cooper and Madi came home and counted all of their candy and watched movies until late late late. and Mike and I sat on the couch and talked about how much fun we had.
