Cooper's Birthday, and Jackson Gets his Bear...

Boys, you really are the best!

This day was "Yes" day, where you could break all of the rules at school. You both wanted to break all of the rules. Such Rebels!  You wore your pajama's to school, had crazy hair, chewed gum, ran in the halls, stayed out longer at recess, didn't do your homework, and a few more I am not remembering. You were very excited about this day, and I totally don't blame you.

Cooper's Birthday:

Cooper are you really 8? It is so crazy how fast time goes by. I promise you were just a baby in my arms, and now you are all big and independent.  For your Birthday we had a family party, and a friend party.
For the Family Party we kept it really simple. It was just Dad, Jackson, Me and You. While you were at school that day I decorated the house and got it all ready for that night. We told you you had to wait for Dad to get home before you could even think about opening a present! You did so good with waiting. But as soon as Daddy walked through that door, you were more then ready to bust into them.

We all sat down and sang Happy Birthday, and the watched you open your presents. You were a little disappointed when all you got were socks, side walk chalk, bike bag, and new shoes.. You looked at Dad and I like " Really guys, this is what I got?"
Dad and Bro and I were trying hard not to giggle too loud, because we knew what was hiding from you down stairs.

Do you remember I asked you to close your eyes while Jackson ran down stairs to get Mom a piece of paper? Well, my sweet little guy, "piece of paper" was code for "Bike"
Jackson brought it up the stairs and parked it behind you, while Daddy placed a real piece of paper in your hand. The look on your face when we told you to open your eyes was again disappointment. We could see the bike sitting behind you, but you were stuck looking at a dumb piece of paper.

My Favorite Moment was when you turned around and you saw your amazing new Bike. You almost didn't believe us. But, oh my goodness were you excited. You jumped right up and grab that bike and out you went.

After you took your bike for a test drive we all jumped into the car and drove over to Bikers Edge so you could spend your birthday money from Grandma and Grandpa Lee. You found a pair of bike gloves, and an eyeball bike bell. Now you are really all set. Nothing can stop this little dude from owning the streets!

Your New shoes, you loved these babies!

After Bikers Edge, we came home and got ready for Birthday Cake, and Ice cream.

Happy Birthday Little Guy. I hope you had a really great day. We had fun celebrating with you.

Two pictures that have nothing to do with Cooper's Birthday.:

Our Dog Sammy is the cuddliest dog ever! She likes to be snuggled any chance she can get. This day you two were sitting on the couch, when sammy jumped up and wedged herself between the two of you. She was in doggie heaven, and I think you two loved that your dog was right by your side. So cute..

Cooper's Friend Birthday Party:

The Saturday after your birthday, you had 9 of your friends come over and celebrate with you. We played lots of different balloon games. And pin the Head on the Lego guy. (But I didn't get any pictures of that.)

It was crazy town for a while, balloons were everywhere.

Here you all are with your awesome balloons.

After the games we sat at the table and ate Ice cream and cake. You guys were so cute and giggly.

You are so sweet Coop.

Cooper's First Pack Mtg, and Jackson get his BEAR!!!:

Now that Cooper is 8 he gets to go to scouts, he had his first pack mtg this last week. He looks so good in his scout gear...

Jackson is such a stud, he worked so hard to get his bear. He and two of his friends earned their Bears this night. They had to crawl through the Bear cave and face the bears to get their bear claws. They were all so brave and jumped right in and fought off the bears and grabbed their claws. Jackson, we are so proud of you for working so hard. Keep it up Dude.

The Cave..

He made it..

Family Picture Moment. Jacks, and Coop. Mom and Dad are so lucky to have you as our boys. We are so proud of you. Thanks for being so great!!
