Broken Ankle 2014

I broke my ankle at a young womans activity up at the Ogden Ice Sheet.

I broke it in two places. I ended up having to have surgery to repair it.

I wore a soft cast for two weeks and a hard cast for 4 weeks. It was incredibly painful and no fun, but I learned so much about the love that a community has for a family in need. Our community certainly took care of our little family.

The day I got my cast came off was the best day. It was hard to walk, and it was painful, but it felt so good to be up and at life again. 

I am so thankful for the experience, and so glad it is behind me now.
