Community Clean Up, first day of School, and a tea Party for two.

Last Saturday our Neighborhood had a community cleanup. I can't say that excited is the right word to use here, but it was a good opportunity to teach the boys that it is important to help the people around you.
Everyone met at the church bright and early and split up into 5 different groups. There were 5 different houses that needed help in one way or another.
We all pulled weeds, and moved rocks, and got really really dirty. Everyone including our cute boys worked really hard.
I have never seen such big piles of stuff ready to go to the dump. The houses looked great when were all done. I am glad we decided to go..

After everyone worked so hard to clean up the neighborhood, we headed back to the church and had lunch... There was alot of food waiting, and alot of hungry people ready to dig in!!

Jackson had a plate of chips for Lunch.. There were all kinds of yummy food, and all he wanted was a taste of all the chips.. There was nothing I could do to stop him. He ate every last greasy bite, and then some..

Jackson on his first day of Second Grade.. I still can't believe he is old enough to be in 2nd grade, I remember when I was in 2nd grade.. So proud..

Cooper got a new Tea set and was very eager to have a tea party right away. So we made hot chocolate, and short bread cookies and called each other Sir Cooper , and Lady Kate and sat at our snack bar and had a lovely Tea Party.. Love this Kid...
