A date Night and Jacksons friend party..

Friday Night..

Jackson and Cooper were invited to have a sleep over with our amazing friends in our old neighborhood. They were really excited to go. Since we have moved its harder for all of us to get together. So when ever we get the chance we take it. Mike and I wanted to take the night to go out and have a date. After we dropped off our cute boys, Mike and I headed over to the DI. Its so silly, but I love this place, you have to look hard, but you can find some pretty great things at this store.
I am not so sure about Mikes feelings on this store, he is just a good sport about the whole thing.

My favorite part about the DI is looking through all of the racks, you really never know what you might find.

Mike gets major husband points for humoring me and dressing up. Who knows, this could be a future outfit for him!

Seriously, I don't think this bike did anything for anyone.

This is suppose to strengthen your core, but we weren't sure how. There wasn't alot of core strengthening going on..Just a whole lot of nothing.

And we found thee hardest couch ever made. It looks inviting from a distance, but is totally uninviting when you sit down. Its like sitting on an upholstered rock. This is the couch you buy when you don't want any company. :)

After we were done playing at the DI, we went and got Chinese food from Mings Garden (so great!) and then we played the night away, we had so much time. We missed our boys, but were glad to have time to just be the two of us.

Saturday, party day:

After our date and the boys sleepover we headed home to get ready for jacksons friend Birthday party. Jackson wanted a shark cake this time. I think this one turned out a million times better then my bug cake.  Mike said it looked more like a monster, then a shark. But I was so proud of my creation..

It was a rainy day, but the kids didn't care, they wanted to play in the water anyway. They first played bumper tubes. Its a great game, not a lot of thought put into this game, Just blow up tubes, put on kids and let them run into each other..  it is full of laughs..

The slip and slide...(which is dead now, it didnt make it through the party..)

And lots of happy faces... ( Carter)

Jackson and Locke

Dallin

Madi

Other fun water games, that got every one soaked!

Giant water balloons, and their war faces.. Watch out, no mercy here...

Or here....

After all of the games we sat down to open his presents. He has so really great friends.. He was so happy.

Then it was time for cake.. Everyone was eager to chow down on this monster/ shark cake...

The whole crew..

I can't believe he is 9..
