Dear Mike, I love Date Night with you.

Dear Mike, I LOVE date night. I love that we get Friday nights to go and do what ever we feel like.  I love that food is a major part of our dates, trying out new restaurants, and new flavors. I love that you make a big deal out of me.

Here we are Ten years down the road. We have two boys who are amazing, who make us crazy, but make us better. We have moved  four times and have met incredible people in all four places. We have gone through job changes, and church calling changes, diaper changes, and life changes.

We have shared a million laughs over a million different things (my favorite is you running into the wall while saying goodbye .) We have cried a million cries over many difficult things.
I love all of the old time movies we like to experience (oh my goodness, there are a lot of really stupid/funny movies out there... The Brain That wouldn't die... all time Favorite.)

Sometimes it seems like we are running one way and another, no time to really sit down and just be, because the laundry isn't done, and the dishes are beckoning us, and the boys are crying, or fighting, or they need our attention right now, or Church callings are waiting. But then Friday comes and its Date Night, and all of the fun/craziness of the week is folded up and put on a shelf. Me and You are going out. I really don't care what we do, just as long as I am with you.

You are awesome. You make me a better person. You hold me together when I need time to cry, and you let me hold you together when you need to cry. You listen to me, and pretend to be excited for me when I tell you about the super sweet deals I found that day. I love that.
You are the best thing to happen to me.

So here's to a life time of Family chaos,( because our sweet boys provide so much of it.) and continual excitement for our Friday Night Dates.

I love You Mike..

This is a fried Mars bar.

Our hike to the top of the Mountain.

We tried to hike a mountain that goes straight up. We set out with high hopes and great intentions.

Everyone was happy, and determined we would make it.

We started off and so did the wind..Our goal: The Top.
The winds goal: to knock us off of the mountain.

We pressed forward for a while. The higher we got, the stronger the wind blew. We also had a sweet little boy who was absolutely hating this hike. We finally sat down and decided it was probably better to not fight the wind or our Coop and just head back home. So that is what we did.

On the way down Jackson was so excited about all of the amazing rocks that were everywhere, he had to take them all home. This kiddo loves rock and bugs and all things science. We let him take home a few of them , he was sad he had to leave the entire mountain behind.. Maybe one day Jacks you can have your very own Mountain.

Cooper got in on the rock action.

Goodbye Mountain, we will try and Hike you again, and next time we will make it.. Oh yes, we will..

Random Picture... Jackson's creation. So proud.
