Jackson, I had so much fun going to conference with you on Saturday. It was fun to watch you as the day approached, you were full of excitement and questions. I can only imagine what was going through your sweet 9 year old head each night as you laid in bed thinking about it.
A couple of nights before we went I sat on the edge of your bed and answered so many of your many questions. One of your questions, that I loved was, if we were related to Captain Moroni. I have no idea babe. How cool would that be if we were.
I think your favorite part was the train ride down. Trains are so cool. My favorite part was watching you wait for the train. You were so ready to be on it already, waiting is so hard especially when what you are waiting for is sure to be the coolest thing you have ever done.
Waiting..
Still waiting..(with a smile.)
Mom, is this thing coming?
You can't see it here, but you were jumping up and down. Finally the Train had come.
You made sure we sat on the top level next to a window.
It was a fun ride in. My other favorite part was listening to you while we rode into Salt Lake City. How cool was it to see peoples back yards, and Lagoon, and really wide open spaces out our windows? We saw a duck pond covered with moss, and we even rode through the train yard, (which you thought was epic) :)
There were so many people there, and you weren't sure about the crowd. But you made it and we found our seats. We had great seats, and you even made a friend with the kid sitting next to you.
Conference was so nice. I loved that we got to go together. You are such a great kiddo. I am one lucky ducky to be your Ma ma.
