Valentines Day 2014 and other things to remember..

Ok, so this post has alot of Random, but its all worth mentioning..

RANDOM #1:

Found this Chair at the D.I. and loved it! Mike and I needed a chair for our kitchen desk so I bought it for 6 dollars.

Then I found this great Fabric at Hobby Lobby for 6 dollars a yard, so I bought a half yard and came home and recovered my already great chair and made it even greater! Love it.

RANDOM # 2:

Jacks has been taking drum lessons, and this last week we bought him his very own drum set. He and his bro are loving this. Jackson is getting amazing at the drums. Mike and I really don't mind the noise. Its fun to listen to Jacks figure things out..

Jackson, where is the smile babe? I know you LOVE this!!

RANDOM #3:

One of my amazing Young Women from Magna is getting ready to go on her Mission to Oregon.
So we decided we were going to spend a day together before she left. We started the day out by meeting up at the Bountiful Temple. The Temple, however, was crazy busy and there really was no room for us, so we had to walk away.. A little sad..

Since we had more time then we thought we would, we used that time to go get some lunch, and do some Mission shopping for Cami. We went to Paradise Bakery for lunch. It was great to sit and catch up. Cami told me about how she decided to go on a mission. It is so similar to my own story. I caught her up on all of the Young Women stuff I have been doing in my new ward.

After we were done with our lunch we headed over to the shops and shopped.  We found Cami the cutest coat and some great shoes. Cami's feet are thee tiniest feet. She wears a size 3 in kids. Holy Moly, I think I was a kids size 3 in first grade. We were laughing so hard at the difference in our feet size. I wear a size 10 in ladies.... its a huge difference.
We tried each others shoes on. I could barely get my toes in her shoes, and my shoes were like ski's for her. So funny..

This is sweet Cami... I love this Girl so much.

I had such a great time with Cami. I am so proud of her. I can't wait to send you Packages Cami..Love you!

RANDOM #4:

Cooper is thee funniest guy around. This pictures scares me a little...But he makes it so darn cute.. Had to put it in here, Its too cute to not.

RANDOM #5:

Jackson got to go skiing with his 4th grade class. Oh my goodness, he was so excited to go. He woke up extra early just to make sure he wouldn't be late.

When he got home that evening, he told us the entire story of what he did, and how he did, and how much fun Skiing is. He cannot wait to go again. I am so glad he had such a great time.

Cooper didn't go skiing, but wanted me to take a picture of him too.
Ok, done with the Randoms, and onto the Valentines stuff...

VALENTINES EVE:

I usually don't make too big of a deal with this Holiday, because I feel I can say "I love you" to my boys any time. But this year I caught the bug.  On Thursday I decorated our house with a few hearts and decided to make my men a nice dinner. I had so much fun sitting and thinking about what dinner I could make.  I settled on Heart shaped pizzas, and bread sticks, and apple turn overs. I know, "Heart" Shaped pizza's is a little sappy, but I have sappy feelings towards these men. They just have to deal with it!! :)

Before they all got home, I set the Table and got the house all "sappied" up. I was actually really excited to see their faces when they saw everything. I had so much planned!!

Here is the start of my "awesome" pizza's.

While I got dinner ready, Jacks and Coop sat and made their teachers home made flowers for valentines, and got their class valentines ready.  (Cooper looks so excited here.. Love that cute face!)

That's Better! Such a goof.

And to kill some time, I went around and took pictures of all the hearts I had hung up, cuz I was so proud..

And more pictures of my Table. ( I truly am a nerdo..)

The pizza's are ready for the oven.. Notice the heart shaped pepperoni's. Yes, I did take time to sit and cut out heart shaped pepperoni's. Just when you thought your Mother couldn't get any dorkier, but like I said... I caught the Valentines Bug.. Watch out, its a real thing!

More of my handsome men getting stuff ready..

Dinner time.. The Pizza's were a hit.  Thank you for being such awesome men! I am so glad you are all mine..

Awwwe.. Mike, You give my butterflies... love you.

VALENTINES DAY:

The next morning I woke up early so I could beat my boys down stairs. I found these darling puppies that I knew they would LOVE!  I was excited to see their faces when they saw them. Truly the Best smiles ever.

Jackson's Pup..

 Coopie's Pup.

I even made heart shaped pancakes, with whip cream, and strawberries. I totally get mom points for this one.

Valentines Day was awesome..

These are the finished Teacher Gifts. My boys were so proud and so excited to give these to their Teachers. Great Job Boys!!

Later that night our very darling babysitter came over so Mike and I could go out on a date. We went to a deli in Ogden called "Dolittles" Such a yummy place. We ate until our bellies were full. Then we headed over to Mikes secret hot sauce store.. I can't tell you where cuz its a secret, but this is the only place he can find the kinds he likes...

After that we went to a sporting goods store to look at paddle boards.. Just dreaming, but one day we will own some...

And then we headed over to Kneaders for some delicious dessert.  Then Home.. It was a great date, and a great day.. Boys, you rock my world... I love you all so much!!
