In the Morning I sent Mike and the boys over to Lagoon to play while I cleaned the house and got things ready for company. The boys played until 2pm and then came home and got ready for the big event.
Friends and Family started showing up around 2ish to congratulate Coop, and enjoy some yummy treats. Our House was Full. It was great to see everyone.
After a couple of hours of visiting, we all headed over to the Church. It was time, and Coop was ready. He was nervous, but Mike was right there to help him through every moment. Jackson was a great help too. He knows how to take care of his bro.
At the Church.
These two men are so handsome.
Such a proud Moment.
I still can't believe that our baby is a little man now.
Cooper was the only one getting baptized that day in our stake. Good thing, because we filled up that room, they had to bring in more seating. We started with a song and a prayer, and then Uncle Jake (Mikes Brother) gave a great talk. After Jake's talk, it was time for Coops big moment. Mike helped him to the font, held his sweet little hand, and then baptized him. That moment was so sweet. To see the trust in Coopers eyes, and the love that Mike has for his baby boy. I only wish that moment could last longer. The spirit there was so strong. What a moment for Mike, to experience the priesthood in such a way. What a moment for Cooper, to be able to feel the love that his Father in Heaven and Savior has for him. I still can't believe he is 8, but I am so proud of him for making this decision. Such an awesome Dude!
After the Baptism, we went out To Village Inn. Originally to get pie, but ended up getting Dinner. Mikes Brother and Sister and their families, and our friend Chris and his daughter Madi came along.
We had such a great day, it was busy, and full of running around. But it was an awesome day!
Cooper, You are amazing! Love you Buddy.
